Terms of Service

For the monthly fee, we provide:

• A website designed and built for your business, using the content you provide
• Hosting, SSL (the padlock), backups and monitoring
• Connection of your domain name
• Lead capture forms, a private lead dashboard and email alerts for new leads
• Basic on-page search engine setup (titles, descriptions, structured data)
• Ongoing updates as described in section 5

We don't guarantee any particular search ranking, number of leads or amount of business. We build and maintain a professional site; results depend on many things outside our control.

Your agreement starts on the day of your first payment and lasts 12 months.

At the end of each 12-month term, your agreement automatically renews for another 12 months at the then-current monthly price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We'll email you a reminder at least 30 days before each renewal. To stop a renewal, email hello@putyouonthemap.com any time before your renewal date.

• The plan is $149 per month, plus any applicable taxes. There is no setup fee.
• Payment is billed monthly in advance to the card or account you provide. Your first payment is collected before we start building your site.
• If a payment fails, we'll let you know. If it isn't resolved within 14 days, we may pause your site and dashboard until your account is current.
• We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change, and it only applies from your next term.

The setup and build of your site are included instead of charged up front, and their cost is spread across your 12-month term. If you cancel before the end of a term, the remaining monthly payments for that term are still due. You can pay them in a lump sum or keep paying monthly until the term ends.

If we end the agreement because we can't deliver the service, you won't owe anything for the remaining months.

You can update your phone number, email, address, hours, homepage text, button text and social links yourself, any time, from your dashboard.

On top of that, your plan includes up to 2 change requests per month. A change request is a small edit we make for you — for example new photos, adding or rewording a service, a seasonal promotion or a new review. Unused requests don't roll over.

Larger work — such as new pages, a redesign, online booking or other new features — isn't included. We'll quote it separately, and nothing is charged unless you approve the quote.

• You provide your logo, photos, service list, reviews and business details, and you confirm you have the right to use them. If you don't have them, we can create a basic starter set.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of your business information, licenses and claims shown on your site.
• You won't use the site or dashboard for anything unlawful, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Keep your dashboard login private. You're responsible for activity under your account.
• Leads from your site belong to you. You're responsible for how you use and store the contact details people send you.

You own your business content — your text, photos, logo and leads. We own the website design, code and platform, and license them to you for use while your plan is active.

Your domain name stays yours. If we register a domain for you, it's registered for your business, and we'll transfer it to you on request once your account is fully paid. When your agreement ends, we'll give you a copy of your content and leads on request.

Veterans, active military, police, firefighters and EMS get 10% off the monthly price (currently $134.10/month). We may ask for reasonable proof of eligibility. The discount applies to the full term it's granted for and can't be combined with other offers.

We work hard to keep sites fast and online, but no service can promise 100% uptime. We may briefly take things offline for maintenance or security, and we're not responsible for outages caused by hosting providers, internet issues or other events outside our control.

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses — such as lost profits, lost jobs or lost data — and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may end the agreement if you seriously break these terms (for example, non-payment or unlawful use) and don't fix it within 14 days of our notice. When the agreement ends, we'll take your site offline and close your dashboard access.

We may update these terms. We'll email you about any important change at least 30 days before it takes effect. Changes that affect price or contract length only apply from your next term.

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which we are based, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
